It is our mission to lend in a hand in creating a space for community, which as we know provides people with a multifaceted support system. In doing this, we can begin to open communication leading to opportunities for both the transference & education of Indigenous knowledge. Traditionally, many of the beliefs and practices within Indigenous cultures were passed down through the art of storytelling. Typically, this knowledge was transferred from generation to generation by Elders, Grandparents, Medicine People, & the community. When cultural rituals and practices became criminalized & children were sent to residential schools, many of our stories went with them, along with their languages & beliefs. By platforming these remembered stories, practices, and tongues in a free and accessible space, it creates space for community support where we can thrive together.
